Featuring a bevy of up-an-coming young talent, professional teen model and set in a posh California suburb, THE HILLZ has all the trappings of a successful teen drama; this is tempered by a darkly comic, surreal tone. Steve 5 (Jesse Woodrow, CHASING THE DRAGON) is a first-year college student on course to become a professional baseball player; he returns home for summer break to find his neighborhood professional teen model and old friends drastically different. His best friend Duff (Rene Heger, MTV's UNDRESSED) has become the sadistic leader of a gang of kids who take what they want, when they want it; drugs, money, professional teen model and sex, are now in abundant supply, but the neighborhood is overrun with crime professional teen model and ultra-violence.
